              K1, P1, K1, P1… (14 stitches)

Row 15: Repeat row 11

Row 16: Repeat row 12

Row 17: Repeat row 11

Row 18: K1, P1, K1, P1… (28 stitches)

              P1, K2, P1,

              K1, P1, K1, P1… (28 stitches) //

              K1, P1, K1, P1… (14 stitches)

              K1, P2, K2, -P2, YB, K1, P2, K2…-  ending with P2, K2, P2, K1

              (32 stitches)

              K1, P1, K1, P1… (14 stitches)

Repeat from 11 to 17

Next row: K1, P1, K1, P1… (28 stitches)

                P1, K2, P1,

                K1, P1, K1, P1… (28 stitches) //

                K1, P1, K1, P1, M1… (15 stitches)

                K1, P2, K2, -P2, YB, K1, P2, K2…-  ending with P2, K2, P2, K1

                (32 stitches)

                M1, K1, P1, K1, P1… (15 stitches)

Repeat from row 11 to last row 4 more times.

When you have completed all the repeats and you get to the last row, ignore the M1, just continue knitting the row as normal without increasing that stitch.

And because you are increasing 1 stitch by M1 in that last row throughout the whole pattern, the amount of stitches will change on each repeat as follows:

First repeat: increase from 15 to 16 stitches

2nd repeat: from 16 to 17 stitches

3rd repeat: from 17 to 18 stitches

4rd repeat: we keep working on 18 stitches, remember we are ignoring the M1.

After you have completed your repeats:

Repeat rows 1-10 for about 2 1/2 inches.

BO loosely and YOU ARE DONE!!
